How sad that this has to happen around the holidays!
TMZ is reporting that Beyoncé‘s mom, Tina Knowles, is ending her 30-year marriage with husband Matthew. She filed divorce papers in Harris County, Texas, in November and according to official documents, she and Matthew “ceased to live together as husband and wife on or about January 5, 2009.” As TMZ points out, that’s the day of the couple’s 30th wedding anniversary.
We’re so sad to see these two splitting up, and our heart goes out to Beyoncé and little sister Solange Knowles. Divorce is something that affects an entire family, so we just hope you stay strong through the whole process!
