Exclusive! Rebecca Gayheart Has the Ultimate Pregnancy Diet!

Hey ladies, if you’re expecting (and even if you’re not), take a page out of Rebecca’s book of healthy eating!

Gauging by her culinary performance so far, Rebecca Gayheart is going to be a fantastic mommy. She’s already feeding her unborn baby the right way! The soon-to-be-mom, who’s due by winter’s end, is making sure her genetically superior child with Eric Dane is healthy little fetus!

The beautiful actress wasn’t always a poster model for well-being. At one of her favorite restaurants, Hugo’s in West Hollywood, Rebecca was known to be always smoking and sipping booze (while munching on a salad, of course) but that’s not the case anymore.

On Wed. Dec. 16 Rebecca came to her favorite haunt for brunch and ordered the Dasayuno Forte (“powerful breakfast” for all you non-Spanish speakers), which was packed full of healthy nutrients including: two poached eggs, sautéed spinach, garlic, onions, tomatoes and Parmesan cheese with a side of potato pancakes.

“This meal is filled with protein, which is great. Pretty much when you’re pregnant, getting a well-balanced meal, like this one, is key,” approves Jake Nelson, the nutritionist for Extreme Bootcamp.

Nelson did have one tip for Rebecca (and all you other expectant moms) for the future. “Be sure you get ionized salt, because it helps the baby’s brain development,” Nelson advises. “It isn’t available in most restaurants because they buy in bulk, so try to eat it at your house.”
