Have you ever been so unhappy that the pounds have literally melted off? Then you’re just like Elin, who’s lost nearly 15 pounds in the last year!
Poor Elin Nordegren. In addition to everything else she’s had to endure this year (IE husband Tiger Woods‘ alleged 15 affairs!) the former fashion model has been too nerved up to eat! And according to fitness expert Joshua Love, this could be detrimental to Elin’s overall health!
“Elin’s body has been under so much stress and it appears that this has been going on for some time,” says Love, a personal trainer at the Viceroy Santa Monica.
“Stress causes the body to shut down, and in a lot of case, causes adrenaline to increase. This makes people less hungry and could definitely be the cause of her weight loss,” he tells HollywoodLife.com.
Although Elin was a model and used to being skinny, Love adds that traumatic events (like discovering her hubby was a cheater, perhaps?) could definitely could lead to an unhealthy weight loss as well. “Her body is used to being a certain weight, and will do everything it can to get back to that point, unless there are events that hinder her natural weight suc as emotional and physical traumas,” he says.
The fitness expert’s final advice for Elin? “She needs to stay away from Tiger and find some stability in her life! Her weight will return once she’s back in a good routine.”
