You can’t always get what you want … and Justin wants sugar!

Tween singing sensation Justin Bieber has fame, fortune and “the Bieber game,” but he’s not allowed the one thing most kids crave: candy!

When I was backstage after Justin’s Radio Disney concert in Los Angeles Dec. 14, I couldn’t figure out why his team kept going through all of 15-year old Justin’s gifts from fans. “Checking for explosives?” I asked one of Justin’s managers as he dug through a gift bag from an adoring fan. “Nah,” he said. “I’m checking for something even more dangerous … candy.”

So whoever gave Justin the Double Bubble gum and Sour Patch Kids, I’m sorry, but it got intercepted! Don’t worry, though … he still got your card. Apparently, Justin gets crazy when he eats too much sugar, so his team keeps it far, far away from his clutches!

How funny is that? Justin is such a big star he performed for the president at the White House, but he’s still so young that he can’t handle his sugar intake.

Justin, we’re going to go with you’re sweet enough already!
