Is it true this time?  Did  Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon really split?  PopEater.com reports the cute Hollywood couple, “have reached that ever-trying breaking point in their relationship, leading to their break-up.”

 A friend of Jake’s said, ”The relationship was at the point where they either got engaged or broke up … they love each other very much, but Reese wasn’t ready to say ‘I do.’ And if she wasn’t ready after two years of dating, Jake wondered if she ever would be.”

Even our spies have noticed Reese looking very unhappy while shopping in L.A. at Jimmy Au’s and our source said, “she looked like she’d eaten a lemon.”

Meanwhile, Jake was the Spike TV Awards in LA without Reese over the weekend.  ”They were always photographed together when they were dating — running or grocery shopping — and now they are never together,” noted one insider.
