You Did It, Lea Michele! You Topped Barbra Streisand At The 'Glee' Sectionals Last Night!

Lea Michele, you saved the day again on Fox’s hit show Glee! The mid-season finale on Dec. 9 was full of suspense. First you gave the ballad solo to Mercedes, and then you dropped the bomb about Quinn and Finn’s baby!  And when your competition stole the set list, of course you stepped in and save the day, winning sectionals with Barbra Streisand‘s “Don’t Rain On My Parade,” a song you’ve been practicing since you were four years old!

Corynne says, “I was at the edge of my seat, wondering, ‘Oh no! Will McKinley High totally bomb at sectionals?’ But of course they didn’t. (What was I thinking?)  And I really can’t believe we have to wait until APRIL for the next new episode! (Like, I might die.)  I am so fully addicted to this cast, and am especially thankfully they moved the plot along in the last two episodes — Mr. Schuester found out there was no baby, Finn is now free to love Rachel, and Mr. Schue and Ms. Pillsbury FINALLY kissed!

At the suggestions of Pop Eater, I’ll have to settle for downloading the Glee songs from iTunes … and re-watching all the episodes I’ve recorded on DVR.

This is Bonnie chiming in, “I don’t know how I’m going to live on Wednesday evenings until mid-April. That is just SO unjust! Watching Glee is like going to a Broadway show every Wednesday night, it’s that good.  And let’s not forget that as fantastic as last night’s episode was, the mattress episode a week ago may have been the best television episode EVER!”
