The holiday season is a time to be grateful for the small things … and this Christmas, NBC’s Biggest Loser (and, therefore, biggest winner) Danny Cahill is rejoicing in finally being able to do mundane things, which other people might call “chores.”

“Whenever Christmas time comes, my wife would have to get up on the ladder and put the lights up because they don’t make ladders that hold 430 pounds,” Danny told us Dec. 9, the morning after his big win. “This year, I’m hanging the lights!”

Danny made Biggest Loser history, dropping 239 pounds in just over a year. “I think that my words of the entire experience would be ‘self found,'” Danny said. “I had lost myself years ago. I didn’t realize I could raise a family and dream at the same time. I was wrong about that.”

Now a much trimmer 190 pounds, Danny is looking forward to doing more than just decorating … he’s going to rock around the Christmas tree!

“I want to write more music,” the former rocker confessed. “My creative juices are flowing again. Be looking for Danny Cahill [to release an album!]“

Fortunately, Danny took home a whopping $250,000 prize on show’s season finale, so he can finally invest in his reincarnated career.

Also on his Christmas list are some well-fitting new duds. “When my wife and I get home, we are going to go shopping. I’m going to get a new wardrobe!” Danny told HollywoodLife.com. “I’ve lost so much weight, I don’t have any clothes!”

Can you believe how incredible Danny looks?
