Jesper Parnevik, the man who introduced Tiger and Elin, says Elin can’t be bought

Elin Nordegren “won’t stay for Tiger Woods or the money ($80 million) after what he’s done,” Swedish golf pro Jesper Parnevik tells Ok! Magazine exclusively.  ”Swedish women are strong and don’t tolerate much. They can’t be bought.”

Jesper, 49, and his wife Mia actually introduced Tiger to Elin in 2001, and have remained close to the couple ever since.  Elin was a nanny for the Parneviks when they introduced her to Tiger at the British Open, and Jesper feels terribly responsible now for that introduction.  Elin was completely blindsided by Tiger’s action, he tells the mag, insisting, “There is no way [Elin] knew about these woman and just turned a blind eye.”

When stories first started coming out about Tiger’s other women, Jesper confessed, “I really feel sorry for Elin, since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him. We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I … need to apologize to her.”

A clearly guilt-ridden Jesper also tells OK!, “I don’t see her being able to continue to love someone who violated her trust so thoroughly.”  Elin is in horrible shock, Jesper says.  ”No woman should have to tolerate the pain she’s tolerating now.”

But Jasper has hope for her in the future. “She will find a way to pull through this for herself and her children,” he says.  ”She has that maternal instinct in her that makes her a great mother.  We’ve seen her many times with her children.  They adore her.”
