With all the Gosselin family drama unfolding, at least Jon and Kate have unloaded one expensive burden from their shoulders!
At long last, there’s good news for the Gosselin clan! Their five-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home in Elizabethtown, Pa. — purchased in 2006 — has finally been sold for $300,000 after nearly nine months on the market.
Brownstone Real Estate, the firm brokering the Gosselin’s home-y deal, confirmed to RadarOnline that the digs are finally off the market and the deal should be finalized over the next four to six weeks.
That still leaves the reality parents to deal with getting rid of their newest home, a 6,000 sq. ft. estate in Wernersville, Pa that cost the former couple a cool $1.1 million in 2008. Although the two have no plans to get rid of their manse just yet, it’s unlikely Jon or Kate will be able to afford the upkeep as singletons.
Well, at least the soon-to-be-ex couple has ONE less thing to worry about, and some more money to pay towards their lawyer fees. Divorce may be necessary for the feuding parents of eight, but it certainly doesn’t come cheap.
