All you frugalistas out there, don’t you think it’s great that Kim and Khloe are re-gifting?

Have you ever gotten a really terrible Christmas gift (a crocheted sweater with reindeer faces from your great-aunt Sally or an old fruitcake, perhaps?) and prayed that you could foist the terrible item off on someone else?

Well, take a lesson from Kim and Khloe Kardashian on how to still look like an angel for giving a gift in spite of the rough economy.

The sisters fessed up about their money-saving trick at the Trevor Project’s Cracked X-Mas Gala in LA on Sunday night. The gals revealed they’re not afraid to re-gift during the holidays because, hey, what’s the harm in recycling presents to your loved ones, right?

But sneakily, those love ones might not realize they’re getting a used pressie!

“It depends,” shrugged Kim, on whether she would own up to her actions. Her younger sis Khloe was more forthcoming. “With my friends, I’m like, ‘here [you go]!’” She added that her re-gifting strategy is honest, kind of. “You have to lie about re-gifting. You have to say ‘I got this and I loved it, but it’s really you.’”

Uh-oh girls! Your secret was so safe, until you let the cat out of the bag. Now your friends and family might be second-guessing everything you give them!
