Ouch! Jennifer Lopez, You Hurt Yourself Worse Than We Thought At The AMAs!

And you’re telling Ellen all about it on today’s show.

Jennifer Lopez ended up with more than just a bruised ego after her big fall during her performance at this year’s American Music Awards, and she’s telling Ellen DeGeneres all about it. “I have a bruised bone,” she says on the Dec. 3 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Yikes! More power to J. Lo for finishing the performance.

“One of the dancers backs was slippery from sweat and lights and everything,” the “Louboutins” singer explains. “We never bargained for that because they always had t-shirts on in rehearsal. So they were barebacked, didn’t have shirts on for the performance and when I stepped on there backs my feet got wet. So when I landed it just slipped from under me.”

Hm… that’s understandable. You can’t always expect your live performance to turn out exactly like you planned during rehearsal — just ask Adam Lambert!

In typical adorable Ellen fashion, the hostess brought along a special gift for the injured singer: a cushion to sit on, kneepads and a helmet!

Don’t miss J. Lo on Ellen today — she’ll be performing “Louboutins” just like she did on the AMAs. And hopefully this time everything will be OK! We’ve got our fingers crossed.
