Being a fashionable First Lady has its perks!
While we all were taken away by Michelle Obama’s Naeem Khan gown at the state dinner on Nov. 24- we also couldn’t stop staring at her earrings! They were a one-of-a-kind creation from Bochic- a jewelry line designed by Miriam Salat and David Arron Joseph. This was the first time Michelle wore Bochic, so you could only imagine how exciting it was for the designers! Can you imagine seeing the First Lady in something you designed?!
Miriam told us when Michelle’s stylist picked up the pieces she said they were for a very VIP person…but they had no idea it was for Michelle! “We didn’t really know until we were watching the news, we were completely blown away, we’re so honored to have someone we respect so much wearing our jewelry,” Miriam shared.
She also spilled on the First Lady’s relatable fashion sense: “She really knows casual elegance…I love the fact that the night before she was wearing a J. Crew cardigan.”
We agree! Oh, if only we could raid her closet…
