Chris says he barely recognizes himself!

In a highly charged interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts this morning, Chris Brown was forced to watch ex-girlfriend Rihanna’s account of his violent attack.

The carefully composed R&B star, who appeared stoic and sad after watching the footage, said “I never ever had problems with anger. No, no domestic violence with any of my past girlfriends. I was never that kind of person.”

Watching the tape was hard for Chris. “I look at it, and it’s really, like, really difficult. It’s like ‘’How could I be that person?’” he asked helplessly.

The singer adds that he’s sorry, and that he’s hurting too. “It’s not something I will look past,” he said, adding, “I’m human. Really, I’m really hurting inside and it’s kind of like devastating to me.”

But has he really changed? Robin seems to think so, and said later in the show that Chris finally is beginning to understand the severity of domestic violence.

What do you think? Is Chris really remorseful?
