Looks like they’re trying to repair their relationship with some outside help.
The couple has reportedly already begun intense marriage counseling! The Chicago Sun-Times says a counselor has been conducting several sessions daily inside their Florida home.
But here’s the real shocker: Elin Nordegren, according to reports, won’t be moving out of the mansion anytime soon. She’s reportedly being paid big bucks (a hefty seven-figure amount!), which will be immediately transferred to her own personal account, to stay by her famous hubby’s side.
A source tells the Sun-Times that the mother of Tiger’s two kids demanded — and will get — a “total rewrite on the couple’s prenuptial agreement making the incentives for her to remain Mrs. Tiger Woods even more enticing.”
What exactly does that mean? The ball’s definitely in Elin’s court! With the prenup as is, the couple had to be married for 10 years in order for her to collect a $20 million settlement. But with the new changes, that number of years has been cut and the dollar figure has increased “substantially,” according to the Sun-Times.
We’ll have to wait and see how everything unravels but one thing’s for sure — Tiger’s got his work cut out for him. “He’s going to have to reestablish himself as a good partner and a good father,” relationship expert Matt Titus told HollywoodLife. But Elin will also have to put in the effort. “She has to forgive him or leave,” says Titus.
