ABC Strikes Again! Adam Lambert's Jimmy Kimmel Concert Canceled

He just can’t catch a break, can he?!

Another one of Adam Lambert‘s performances has been canceled — this time it’s his Dec. 17 outdoor concert on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, EW confirms. “We decided not to move forward with the booking at this time,” says a rep for ABC.

“Yes, sadly, friends, ABC has cancelled [sic] my appearances on Kimmel and NYE. : ( don’t blame them. It’s the FCC heat,” Adam wrote on his Twitter page Wednesday night. In another tweet he said, “It’ll all blow over. Let’s focus on being positive!”

Two days after his controversial and raunchy American Music Awards set, ABC axed Adam’s Good Morning America concert. Even though he was able to get his chance on CBS’s The Early Show, the morning program then censored part of his AMA performance when they showed a playback!

But Adam’s fans will get another chance to see him belt it out again. The singer’s rep told EW he’ll be taking the stage on The Jay Leno Show on Dec. 21.

ABC wouldn’t say whether or not his canceled Kimmel concert had anything to do with his AMA performance. But apparently Adam’s gig on Jimmy’s late-night show was booked before the big music award show. We’ll let you be the judge …
