A new, explosive “tell-all” about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie claims the superstar couple constantly fight and break up, have screaming matches, and when they aren’t fighting, the duo spend 20 hours a day getting freaky in bed.  But if you think this is all a LOT for the couple to keep track of, all while raising six kids, you’re not alone!

Sure, it’s fun to read these gossipy stories in books like “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie” written by Ian Halperin, but senior features editor Katherine Thomson has her doubts about some of the salacious stories found in its pages.

“Author and reporter Ian Halperin supposedly spent five years piecing together Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and spoke with 900 sources,” Thomson wrote on  “But reading [an article about the book in the New York Post], I find much of it hard to believe.

“Despite the 900 sources,” Thomson says, the most gossipy story in the book was lifted from a Vanity Fair interview with Jennifer Aniston, where Jen said she met Angelina once “on the lot of Friends — I pulled over and introduced myself. I said, ‘Brad is so excited about working with you. I hope you guys have a really good time.'”

The book also reports, “Brad had never had such incredible sex … sometimes they spent 18 to 20 hours a day in bed. But sex eventually wears off.”  Thomson argues, “18-20 hours in bed a day having [sex]? I’m not sure. When Brad and Angelina met in 2004 she was a single mom to son Maddox, and she adopted Zahara in July 2005. Did she spend days on end in bed with her boyfriend while her toddler son and newly-adopted daughter were elsewhere? It seems unlikely.”

Halperin also says Brad and Angie, “Were definitely in love,” on the set of Brad’s film Troy.  But … “Troy came out in the summer of 2004 and was filmed in 2003, before Brad had ever met Angelina,” Thomson points out.

So, what do you think?  Would you read this salacious Brangelina book?
