Is there something Tiger Woods and wife Elin Nordegren don’t want to say to the police?
Tiger Woods‘ agent informed the Florida Highway Patrol today that Tiger and Elin Nordegren are not yet ready to discuss the pro golfer’s Nov. 27 car accident, according to TMZ. This is the second time authorities have attempted to speak with the family, a perfectly normal procedure in cases like this. Police, like the rest of you, are likely unsure of Tiger and Elin’s part in the crash. With no blood found on the steering wheel, could it be true as some reports are alleging that the lacerations on Tiger’s face were caused by his wife, and not a result of the accident itself?
As for Rachel Uchitel, the alleged other woman in this case, a Blackbook Magazine article from July 2008 sheds more light on who she is as a person. “Although I’ve been romantically linked to a famous baseball player, a Broadway star, a musician, and various film and television actors, I will never kiss and tell!” she says.
She tells the magazine that she’s “obsessed with work ethic and can get anything done. … Having once worked in live TV [she spent five years as a producer at Bloomberg News], I’m intuitive about reading people’s wants and needs, and I take customer service to a whole new level.” But she didn’t just work in television. She soon relocated to Las Vegas, where she helped launch the extremely popular nightclub and restaurant Tao. Then it was back to New York, where she oversaw VIP operations for Tao’s other properties, including Stanton Social, Marquee, Dune and Tao Bistro. She also worked as the director of VIP operations for Southhampton hotspot Pink Elephant. She’s definitely not a lazy girl!
When it’s time to kick back and relax, Rachel says she likes to spend her weekends “at the beach with the two loves of [her] life — Ozzy Osbourne and Rudy Giuliani — [her] affenpinscher and brussels griffin.” (Those would be the dogs seen in the photo above). She owns a Turnberry apartment in Las Vegas, and likes to going there on long weekends. She also loves Saint-Tropez and makes sure to spend a few weekends there every year.
There’s a little dramatic irony at the end of the interview, when Rachel says where she’ll be in a year. “Standing over design renderings of my new club with a fabulous investor, still yet to be found.” We bet Rachel never thought that in a year, she’d end up at the center of a major celebrity scandal!
