Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley is getting nutrition advice from an unlikely source — The Biggest Loser‘s latest cast-off, Allen Smith!
After meeting last night on The Jay Leno Show, the former Sixters star and Biggest Loser contestant hit it off so well that they’re now going to help each other get in shape!
“[Charles] knows about exercising,” Allen told reporters today. “But I’m going to work with him on nutrition to see if we can help him lose those 50 to 70 pounds.”
Since starting his trip down weight loss lane six months ago, Allen, a 44 year-old firefighter/EMT from Columbus, Ind., has dropped more than 125 pounds! It hasn’t been easy…we all have those guilty pleasures (cough — cookie dough — cough) and the reality star definitely has his vices. “Cheese tempts me all the time,” he said. “Cheese is my vice. It’s my chocolate!”
Luckily Allen works out so much, he can totally afford to sneak in a piece of cheese every now and then. Why? When he’s not saving lives, Allen fits in one to two hours of cardio in the morning, two more of exercise in the afternoon and an hour and half of “slow burn” (walking or jogging) in the evening.
You couldn’t get us to work out five to six hours a day! You’re the true baller now, Allen!
