Glam-rocker Adam Lambert, you’re not sorry!
We know you gave a lot of parents a heart-attack during your raunchy performance at the American Music Awards on ABC Sunday night. And then Disney-owned ABC dumped you from your scheduled Good Morning America appearance today. But we gotta give you a hand, you stood your ground this morning in your CBS Early Show interview!
You said, “I’m not a baby-sitter, I’m a performer” — and you made your point very clear!
You said you didn’t expect parents to let their little ones stay up to 11 pm to watch your sexy shenanigans — and that may be true. Kids under 14 should be in bed by 11 on a Sunday night! But since you were so articulate this morning, we’ll let you speak for yourself:
- “I didn’t do this in rehearsal” you said, letting ABC off the hook.
- “I got carried away, but I don’t see anything wrong with that,” you admitted about your “For Your Entertainment” performance, when you kissed a guy keyboard player and had one girl dancer simulate oral sex during.
- You took a swipe at your 1,500 critics saying, “If I was woman instead of an openly gay man, there would not be as much outrage about it.”
- Adam, you even admitted, “I can see how some got offended, that was not my intention” and that your movements came from an “impromptu place … it just got the most of me.”
