Celebrities usually put their designer dresses on full display for the cameras, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Both Taylor Momsen and Sharon Stone were spotted layering up over evening wear on November 16th in NYC. Taylor, on the set of Gossip Girl, was outfitted in a wool embellished mid-length coat over a black sequins gown. Sharon, an honoree at the Enduring Vision Gala for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, covered up her couture Galliano for Dior with a leather coat. We understand the warm nights of summer are long gone, but why hide your elaborate evening wear ladies? Is this the beginning of a new trend or simply a fashion faux pas?
