Ashley Greene, you brought old school glamour to the New Moon premiere!
“The look was classic 60’s – well-defined eyes with lots of lashes, strong brows and subtly pink cheeks and lips,” says Vanessa Scali, the makeup artist behind this gorgeous look. For her tips and tricks for recreating this look, read more.
Vanessa started by evening out Ashley’s “nearly flawless skin” with a bit of under-eye concealer and foundation.
She added a touch of pink blush to the apples of her cheeks.
For Ashley’s eyes, she started with a wash of neutral shimmery shadow all over.
“To define and elongate her eyes, I used black liquid liner on the upper lid only. I extended it up and out past the outer corner. If you don’t have a steady hand, use a pencil liner first as a guide, then go back in and add gel liner after,” Vanessa says.
“To cheat the appearance of a larger eye, a good trick is to line the inner rims of the eyes with white eyeliner,” suggests Vanessa.
Fill in brows with a soft brown pencil.
Generously coat lashes with mascara.
Finish up the look with a swipe of soft pink lipstick. (Vanessa used Lancome’s Rouge Absolu in Chris and Tell which, unfortunately for us, isn’t available until spring!)
