Charlie’s Getting A New Team Of Crime-Fighting Beauties
First on the big screen, and now in your living room! Charlie’s Angels is making another comeback, this time as a primetime series on ABC, Variety reports. Drew Barrymore, who produced and starred in 2000′s Charlie’s Angels and 2003′s Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, will also be producing this new version.
The original Charlie’s Angels ran from 1976 to 1981 on ABC, and starred Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson, John Forsythe and the late Farrah Fawcett.
Of course, TV remakes are nothing new. You’ve all seen the second comings of classics like 90210 and Melrose Place — along with less-successful reboots like NBC’s Knight Rider.
We can’t wait to see who they’ll cast!
